The Third Week

One Week To Go

In the third week, on Friday 9th of February 2018, we went to the external campuses In Leon and Miagao with our coordinator, Mrs. Shailini. 

Three of us, Nenes, Uswa, and I spent a night in Racos Resort in Guimbal with Ma'am Shelah, Rudica, and Jean.

The Last Week

The Send-off Party

I never thought that it was near the end of my journey, there in Iloilo, until ISAT U held a Send-off party for four of us. The party was on the third floor of HRT, the place where I spent those last four weeks. I am very grateful that I really have closed Ilonggos friends.

We tried our best to give our last performances. One of my friends, Yohana Nenestalia from Lambung Mangkurat University performed an traditional Indonesian dance from the Banjar tribe. Uswa and I were performing two songs which were Tanah Airku (my homeland) and Hymne Guru (the Hymn of Teacher). We delivered our farewell speeches, things we had been through for a month.I really could not hold my tears that time. Yes, I was happy to go back to Indonesia, but in the other hand, It was not easy to leave what I have there, the place that stole a half of my heart.

For the last words of my memorable journey, I would like to say thank you for those who have given me the opportunity to experience and learn for the past four weeks in ISAT U, the Iloilo City, Philippines. For the SEAMEO, my almamater Tanjungpura University, the head of the English Study program Mr. Urai Salam, ISAT University, the president of ISAT U Mr. Raul F. Muyong, the dean of college of Education Mr. John EricV. Juaneza, our Coordinator Mrs. Shailini G. Gestosani, our teaching mentors Ms. Emmi Jan P. Endonilla, Mrs. Hilda Darroca, and Mrs. Jieza Napone, my Indonesian friends Uswatun Hasanah and Yohana Nenestalia, my Illonggos friends, Ma'am Shelah, Nino, Sir Charlie, Sir. Lorence, Rudica, Pearl, Hana, Jean, Mart, and my first Thai friend, Tor, thanks for everything.
